i found this site a while ago where you can watch some of the miu miu campaign photos from 1994-2010. i think it is kind of amazing to see how everything has developed the past 17 years. the photo above is from the fall 2005 when lou doillon was one of the models.

min favoritfotograf är inte bara himlans bra på att fotografera, tydligen kan hon teckna så himlans fint också. älskar bilderna på vattenglasen. det får mig att tänka på den omöjliga uppgiften i att tämja ett hav. flott! och förresten har jag många favoritfotografer, man får ha det.
i recently discoreved that my favourite photographer is not only a great photographer but also a talented drawer. i love the drawings of the waterglasses. it makes me think of the impossibility of tameing the ocean. so smart! and if you noticed, i have several favourite photographers, you can have that.

för några dagar sedan såg jag den här filmen, whip it. himlans fin. ellen page spelar tonåriga bliss cavendar (a.k.a. babe ruthless) som bor i en småstad och vet inte riktigt vad hon vill. hennes mamma vill i alla fall att hon skall ställa upp i skönhetstävlingar precis som hon gjorde när hon var ung, vilket hon också gör fastän hon helst av allt vill växa upp på sitt eget sätt. filmen handlar om att bryta sig loss, lite om tristess, om vänner och lite om en speciell indikille i smala jeans och lite lockigt hår. om ni vill se den kan ni bara klicka här. och vill ni lyssna till soundtracket som faktiskt är riktigt bra kan ni göra det här.
a few days ago i saw this movie, whip it, it was really nice. ellen page is teenaged bliss cavendar (a.k.a. babe ruthless) who lives in a small town near texas. her mom wants her to enter beauty contests which she did when she was young but most of all bliss just wants to grow up her own way. the movie is about growing up and being a person, a little bit of monotony, about friends and a little about a very special indie boy called oliver with skinny jeans and blonde hair. if you want to see it, just click here. and if you want to listen to the soundtrack, which actually was really good, you can do it here.

i love the dialogue, it actually reminds me a little bit of the dialogue in juno. and did you know that it is drew barrymore who has directed the movie? it is her first.

är det någon av er som har läst jane austen? ibland tänker jag att det kanske vore något för mig, fast sedan tänker jag att 1800-tal och herrgårdar inte är något för mig. för mest av allt gillar jag den här boken som jag håller på att läsa nu, den är så fin att det nästan gör ont att bläddra i den för man vill ju egentligen ha allting kvar.
is there any of you who have read anything by jane austen? i believe they are very popular, but im not sure that i like mansions and the 1900th century. because most of all im in love with this book that im reading right now. it almost hurt a little bit when i browse through the pages because i never want to finish it, to always have some pages left to read.

för ett litet tag sedan såg jag tv-filmen grey gardens, den med drew barrymore och jessica lange. för er som inte har sett den handlar den om mamma och dotter edith bouvier beale, little and big edie, som var släkt med jackie onassis (kennedy). de lämnar new yorks överklass bakom sig och flyttar ut till long island, till ett hus som de kallar grey gardens. den handlar mycket om relationen mellan mamma och dotter och hur livet förändras och påverkas av de beslut man tar. om hur framtiden ser ljus ut men att man inte skall ta något för givet. den handlar också såklart om ensamhet tillsammans.
a little while ago i finally saw the tv-movie grey gardens, you know the one with drew barrymore and jessica lange. if you havent seen it yet i can tell you it is about mother and daughter edith bouvier beale, little and big edie, who were relatives to jackie onassis (kennedy). they leave the upper class of new york for grey gardens, a summer house in long island. the film is about the relationship between mother and daughter and how the decisions you make affects your life. how everything seems to work out well but perhaps it will not. it is also about being lonely together with someone.
i takt med att familjen splittras och pengarna sinar förlorar de också kontakten med verkligheten och blir allt mer excentriska.
as the family is divided and the money is running out they also lose contact with reality and they are becoming more and more excentric.
och drew är underbar som little edie. och se hur vacker hon är och kläderna sedan. det är ju så man dör lite, titta bara! åh!
and drew is wonderful as little edie. she is so beautiful and the clothes she wears are maginificent. im dying a little, just look. oh!
tillbaka i new york och ganska lycklig.
here she is back in new york, and she is relatively happy.
och här är hon tillbaka på grey gardens. sammanlagt bodde både little och big edie på grey gardens i 50 år var. det är en ganska lång tid ensamma med varandra. och en ganska lång tid att vara egoistisk och lite rädd.
and this is when she is back to grey gardens. little and big edie lived at grey gardens for 50 years each. it is a pretty long time for being lonely with someone else. and a pretty long time for being egoistic and a little afraid. 
det är lite hemskt att se hur allting förfaller samtidigt som big edie fortsätter att blunda för verkligheten och drar med sig sin dotter.
it is a little frightening to see how everything decays and how big edie is determined to ignore the reality. she doesnt seem to notice or care that she isnt just ruin her own life but also her daughters life.
en bra film tycker jag. men visst blir man lite sugen på att se originalet från 1975. har ni sett den? var tyckte ni om den?
i think i liked this movie and it makes me want to watch the original from 1975. have you seen it? what did you think of it?
