idag såg jag en helt fantastisk film, black swan. jag tror att de flesta av er har sett eller i alla fall hört en hel del om den här filmen och jag tror att många av er vet vad svansjön handlar om, därför skall jag inte säga så mycket mer.
today i saw the most amazing film, black swan. i believe most of you have already seen it or at least heard about it by now and i believe most of you know the plot of the swan lake. so im not going to say so much more.
den handlar om vad man är beredd att offra för att nå sitt mål och hur man mår på vägen dit. den handlar om hur något kan helt ta över någons liv. den handlar om förväntaningar, både från sig själv och från andra. den handlar om rädsla. den handlar om oro. den handlar om att inte räcka till. därför tror jag att många kan känna igen i alla fall en liten bit av den här berättelsen.
it is a movie about making sacrifices to reach ones goal and how you feel while trying. it is about how something can completely takes you over. it is about expectations, both from yourself and from others. it is about fear. it is about angst. it is about not being good enough. thats why i think that almost everybody recognizes herself/himself at least a little bit in this story.

igår såg jag en mycket intressant och fin dokumentär om och med catherine deneuve. om ni missade den går den i repris på onsdag.
last night a saw a documentary with and about catherine deneuve. 
hon har gjort en himla massa filmer och låtar. och modellat och designat såklart.
she has starred in a lot of movies and has made a lot of songs. and she has also worked as a model and as a designer of course.
hon är såklart fruktansvärt vacker men framför allt verkar hon hemskt intelligent. precis som hon sade i dokumentären är ens utseende inte något man kan göra så mycket åt egentligen utan mest vara tacksam över.
she is a beautiful woman but also, she seems very intelligent. she said that she wasnt proud over her looks, just grateful and that it was something she could not take credit for.

såhär hade min bästa morgon sett ut. jag skulle nog vakna ganska tidigt av att ljuset försiktigt letar sig in genom fönstret, för tänk att vakna av att solen skiner! jag skulle äta frukost, kanske spela lite piano (om jag fortfarande kunde) och sedan ge mig iväg för äventyr. det hade varit fint tror jag.
i guess this is how my perfect, imaginary morning would look like. i would wake up pretty early in the morning, awakened by the sun. i would eat breakfast, perhaps play some songs at the piano (if i still knew how to play) and then leave for new adventures. i think it would be the perfect morning.

i am going to tell you about some things i like.
teater, opera, balett. sådant är fint tycker jag och man kan glömma tiden lite. älskar att glömma tiden. älskar.
theatre, opera, ballet. i find it beautiful and it makes me forget about the time. and i love forgetting about the time. i love.
museum. speciellt skelett, vilket låter jättekonstigt, men jag gillar verkligen läskiga saker och skelett är precis sådär lagom läskigt. uppstoppade stackars djur är bara hemskt.
museums. especially skeletons which i know sounds weird but im very fascinated by creapy stuff and skeletons are exactly the right amount of creapyness i guess. stuffed, poor animals are just terrible.
badhus är något som jag önskar att jag gillade men inte gör. kan inte hjälpa det, men finns det någon annan plats på jorden där man fryser lika mycket som på badhus? och blir förkyld? jag tror inte det.
public baths are something i really wish i could like but i dont. i cant help it, but i always end up with a cold and of course, freezing too much.

januari tvåtusenelva. det kändes som om december bestod av jag-önskar-mig, god-jul, året-som-gått och gott-nytt-år. själv drogs jag med i de två förstnämnda, bara för att julen är något av det bästa jag vet. däremot måste jag erkänna att lika mycket som jag gillar julen ogillar jag mellandagarna och nyår. därför gör jag det här på mitt eget sätt, så jag tänkte summera januari tvåtusentio nu istället och låtsas som att nyår aldrig hände. såhär såg det ut.

jag var ute och promenerade i snön med min hund medan jag toklängtade efter våren och önskade mest av allt att snön skulle försvinna fortare än någonsin så att jag kunde skaffa mig ett par finskor med tillhörande fulstrumpor. om jag hade vetat att snön skulle ligga kvar till ungefär april hade jag nog dött av längtan.
i often took my dog out for long walks in the snow but most of all i was longin for spring. i wanted the snow to disappear so that i could wear nice heels and ugly socks again. if i had known that the snow would last until april i think i would have suffocated.

hela januari hade jag svårt att sova men så en morgon vaknade jag av att det faktiskt var ljust ute. jag drömde om att äta frukost sittandes på fönsterbrädan och så bakade jag indiska kanelbullar med saffran, kokos och pistagenötter.
i had trouble sleeping during january but one morning in the end of the month i woke up to sunlight and it made me a little more optimistic. i dreamt about the sun and baked indian cinnamon buns with saffron, coconut and pistachio nuts.
