jag har precis skaffat mig ett konto på goodreads. jag hade verkligen ingen aning om vad det var för sida innan jag såg en länk hos susanna. för er som inte vet så är det en sida där man lägger upp böcker som man har läst eller som man vill läsa och tipsar andra om bra böcker. kan ni inte gå med eller lägga till mig som vän? älska böcker alltså!

en av mina allra bästa filmer är walk the line, filmen som handlar om johnny cashs liv, från 2005. jag tycker om hans musik men även om du inte gör det tycker jag att du skall se den om du inte redan har gjort det, för det är en riktigt bra film. joaquin phoenix är min favorit och spelar huvudrollen. reese witherspoon spelar june carter.

one of my absolute favourite movies is walk the line, the movie about the life of johnny cash, from 2005. i do like his music but even if you do not i would like to recommend this one if you have not already seen it because it is a really good movie. joaquin phoenix is my favourite actor and he plays the title role. reese witherspoon portraits june carter.






filmen börjar år 1944, när johnny var liten och bodde i arkansas. fast egentligen inte, för det första vi ser av johnny är från folsom state prison 1968. men det kommer senare.

the movie begins in 1944, when johnny is a child and lives in arkansas. or not really, because the first thing we see is a grown johnny in 1968, at the folsom state prison. but more about that later.






johnny i flygvapnet. han vill inte alls för han vill hellre ägna sig åt musiken.

johnny in the air force. he does not like it there because he would rather sing and play.






när han kommer hem igen lyckas han få skivkontrakt.

and when he comes home he get a record contract.






och sen kommer june in i bilden. jag tycker om henne. reeses bästa roll.

and then comes june. i like her, this is by far (according to me) reeses best part ever.

juli luktar inte lika gott som juni. luften känns tyngre och flera skalor mörkare. i denna ljuva sommartid. jag tappar ord och lider av post potter depression. norge lider och vi med dem. kom igen nu.

i vanliga fall tycker jag inte så värst mycket om ryan mcginley. jag tycker att det är lite väl mycket onödigt naket,  men de här är fina tycker. moonmilk.

usually, im no huge fan of ryan mcginley. it seems to me he is a huge fan of nude, which i think is kind of lame when the objects are nude just to be nude, not because it makes the photo better. but i really like the photos above from the series moonmilk.

jag tycker att harry potter och dödsrelikerna del två var den bästa filmen i serien. jag tycker om alla väldigt mycket, de är bra på olika sätt men som film var nog den här den bästa. jag anser att film och böcker är två olika medium och att adaptera en film från en bok måste vara himla svårt. man kan inte berätta på samma sätt, det finns varken tid eller utrymme och dessutom är filmerna ofta riktade till en annan, mer global publik. hur som helst, en av de mest fantastiska med både filmerna och böckerna är att de håller hela vägen. jag tror att det är svårt att förstå vilken press det måste vara på regissören david yates att skapa en final som motsvarar elva års suspense.

i think that harry potter and the deathly hallows was by far the best movie in the saga. im very fond of all the movies and it is hard for me to compare them with each other but as a film, this one was the best even if it differed some from the book. i believe that books and movies are two different mediums and therefore the plot has to be told in different ways, even if it is an adaption. you do not have the time nor the space for that and the audience is slightly different. movies tend to target a larger and more global crowd. however, the amazing with this saga is that it remains its high quality through all the movies and all the books. i think it is hard to understand the preassure david yates felt to create a finale that meets the eleven year suspense. 






filmen börjar vid snäckstugan och dobbys grav. dobby symboliserade harrys barndom och var väldigt naiv och oskuldsfull. när han dog i slutet av del ett dog en del av harry också.

the movie begins at the shell cottage and the grave of dobby. dobby symbolized harrys childhood and he was very naive and innocent. when he died in the end of part one, a part of harry died too.






de bryter sig in på gringotts för att få tag på helga hufflepuffs bägare som är ett horrokrux.

they break in to gringotts to steal helga hufflepuffs cup, voldemort had made it a horcrux.






det går inte riktigt som planerat.

sedan börjar det stora slaget.

then the great battle begins.






jag tycker om att snape fick så stort utrymme i den här filmen. till skillnad från hagrid som nästan inte var med alls.

i like that snape had recived so much on sceen time. i missed hagrid, he had almost no screen time at all.






neville fick också mycket filmtid. tycker om neville.

nevilles part was more significant in this movie. i like neville.






och molly fick chans att visa en ny sida av sig själv. precis som professor mcgonagall.

and molly got the chance to show some new sides and qualities. as did professor mcgonagall.

sista filmen var nog min bästa harry potter film någonsin. helt fantastisk, jag lovar. och jag har en massa saker att säga om den men jag tror att jag väntar lite så att ni får en chans att se den själva först. två saker bara, bästa fightscenen någonsin och räkna med priser för lång och trogen tjänst.

the last harry potter movie was by far the best according to me. truly amazing, i promise you will not be disapointed. i have a lot of things that i want to tell you about it but i think i will wait a few days so that you have the possibility to watch it yourself. i just have to say two things: the best fight scene ever and dont be surprised if this movie wins a lot of prices for long and faithful service.

eftersom jag läser en sommarkurs om harry potter och hans världar är det meningen att jag bland annat skall skriva en uppsats. men jag kan inte bestämma mig om vad jag skall skriva, det finns så mycket som är intressant! vad hade ni velat skriva om? min första tanke var: "hogwarts miljöer - i böcker och film". min andra tanke var: "harry potter - från böcker till film". jag vill skriva om både böckerna och filmerna, gärna om stuart craig som är min absoluta favorit och kanske om adaptioner för tänk vad svårt det måste vara att göra film av j. k. rowlings böcker! adaptioner är alltid svåra eftersom det faktiskt handlar om två helt olika medium. om ni har några ideer får ni jättegärna komma med tips och förslag. och annars tycker jag att ni skall läsa den alldeles utmärkta intervjun med stuart craig nedan.

this summer im taking a course. it is called the wondrous worlds of harry potter. im supposed to write an essay which is very interesting but im not sure about what exactly and so far i have played around with some ideas. my first thought was: " the hogwarts surroundings - in books and movies" and my second thought was something like: "harry potter - from books to movies". i want to write both! i want to write about both the books and the movies, preferably about the production designer stuart craig and perhaps something about the adaption from books to movies. what would you have written about? please feel free to give me some ideas! or, just read the great interview with stuart craig down below.

the tales of beedle the bard: the tale of the three brothers.






there were once three brothers who were travelling along a lonely, winding road at twilight. in time, the brothers reached a river, too treacherous to pass. but being learned in the magical arts, the three brothers simply waved their wands and made a bridge. before they could cross however, they found their path blocked by a hooded figure, it was death, and he felt cheated. cheated because travellers would normally drown in the river.but death was cunning. he pretended to congratulate the three brothers on their magic, and said that each had earned a prize for being clever enough to evade him.






the oldest, asked for a wand more powerful than any in existence. so, death fashioned him one from an elder tree that stood nearby.






the second brother, decided that he wanted to humiliate death even further, and asked for the power to recall loved ones from the grave. so death plucked a stone from the river, and offered it to him.






finally, death turned to the third brother. a humble man, he asked for something that would allow him to go forth from that place without being followed by death. and so it was that death reluctantly handed over his own cloak of invisibility.






the first brother travelled to a distant village, where with the elder wand in hand, he killed a wizard with whom he had once quarrelled. drunk, with the power that the elder wand had given him, he bragged of his invincibility. but that night, another wizard stole the wand, and slit the brothers throat for good measure. and so, death took the first brother for his own.






the second brother journeyed to his home, where he took the stone and turned it thrice in hand. to his delight, the girl he had once hoped to marry before her untimely death appeared before him. yet soon she turned sad, and cold for she did not belong in the mortal world. driven mad with hopeless longing,the second brother killed himself, so as to join her. and so, death took the second brother for his own.

as for the third brother, death searched for many years, but was never able to find him. only when he attained a great age did the youngest brother shed the cloak of invisibility, and give it to his son. he then greeted death as an old friend, and went with him gladly, departing this life, as equals.

fina ryggsäckar. min mamma har en liknande som hon hade första dagen i skolan. i ytterfacket ligger det ett kort på hennes favoritdansband från när hon var liten. tänk att hon lyssnade på dansband, bara en sådan sak liksom...

nice backpacks. my mum has a similar from when she was a kid and was about to start school. in one of the pockets lies a photo of her then favourite dance band. i cant believe she was listening to that kind of music...

lake mackenzie 1979.

"i walked the routeburn track in february 1979. this photo was taken at lake mackenzie near the present campsite. when i was there in dec 2010, there was a much bigger beach area, so the lake level has dropped a few feet in the 30 years sincei first did the walk. my friend had started taking the tent down and i said wait till i take a photo. it was not until i got my developed slides back that i saw what a beautiful photo it turned out to be. very unexpected."
